# Christopher Voth

**Christopher Voth** (born 27 September 1990) is a Canadian former professional [volleyball](/source/Volleyball) player. He was part of the [Canada men's national volleyball team](/source/Canada_men's_national_volleyball_team). On club level he played left side for [Abiant Lycurgus](/source/Abiant_Lycurgus).[1] Voth is openly gay[2] and came out as the first openly gay national athlete from Canada.[3]
