'''Christophe Coin''' ({{IPA|fr|kwɛ̃|lang}}; born 26 January 1958) is a French [cellist](/source/cello), [viola da gamba](/source/viola_da_gamba) player and conductor active in the field of [historically informed performance](/source/historically_informed_performance). He is the cellist of the [Quatuor Mosaïques](/source/Quatuor_Mosa%C3%AFques) and is the director of the Ensemble Baroque de Limoges.

Born in [Caen](/source/Caen), Coin studied with Jacques Ripoche. At the [Conservatoire de Paris](/source/Conservatoire_de_Paris), he studied cello with [André Navarra](/source/Andr%C3%A9_Navarra) and graduated in 1974. From 1976, he studied on a scholarship in Vienna. He was influenced by [Nikolaus Harnoncourt](/source/Nikolaus_Harnoncourt), among others. In 1991 he played as part of the sound-track to the French film ''[Tous les Matins du Monde](/source/Tous_les_Matins_du_Monde)''.
