**Christophe Capelle** (born 15 August 1967) is a French former [racing cyclist](/source/Racing_cyclist).

Capelle won a gold medal for France in the 4000-meter team pursuit at the [1996 Summer Olympics](/source/Cycling_at_the_1996_Summer_Olympics) in Atlanta, riding alongside [Philippe Ermenault](/source/Philippe_Ermenault), [Jean-Michel Monin](/source/Jean-Michel_Monin), and [Francis Moreau](/source/Francis_Moreau).[1] In 2000, he represented France in the [points race](/source/Cycling_at_the_2000_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_points_race)[2] and [Madison](/source/Cycling_at_the_2000_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_Madison) events,[3] finishing outside the medals in both events. Capelle also competed in the [Olympic road race](/source/Cycling_at_the_2000_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_road_race), but failed to finish.[4]

Capelle also raced for the [Big Mat–Auber 93](/source/Big_Mat%E2%80%93Auber_93) team at the [1999 Tour de France](/source/1999_Tour_de_France), completing the race in 115th place.[5]
