**Christof Teuscher** is an author and editor who works at the [Los Alamos National Laboratory](/source/Los_Alamos_National_Laboratory), [United States](/source/United_States).

Teuscher obtained MSc and PhD degrees from the [Swiss Federal Institute of Technology](/source/%C3%89cole_Polytechnique_F%C3%A9d%C3%A9rale_de_Lausanne) in [Lausanne](/source/Lausanne), [Switzerland](/source/Switzerland). For his PhD, he explored [Alan Turing](/source/Alan_Turing)'s ideas on [artificial intelligence](/source/Artificial_intelligence) and [neural networks](/source/Artificial_neural_network).[1]

He was the initiator and organizer of the [Turing Day](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Turing_Day&action=edit&redlink=1), an international workshop to commemorate the anniversary of Alan Turing's 90th birthday.[2]
