'''Christina Chalon''' (25 May 1748 – 18 December 1808) was a Dutch artist.

Chalon was born in Amsterdam,<ref name="Biografisch">{{cite web|title=Chalon, Christina (1749-1808)|url=http://www.biografischportaal.nl/persoon/19563494|website=Het Biografisch Portaal|accessdate=6 August 2017}}</ref> and studied painting under [Sara Troost](/source/Sara_Troost) and [Ploos van Amstel](/source/Cornelis_Ploos_van_Amstel).<ref name="DVN">{{cite web|last1=de Haas|first1=Anna|title=Chalon, Christina (1749-1808)|url=http://resources.huygens.knaw.nl/vrouwenlexicon/lemmata/data/chalon|website=DVN|publisher=Huygens ING|accessdate=6 August 2017}}</ref> She, however, devoted herself more particularly to etching, in which she acquired great proficiency. She has left some thirty plates, for the most part in the style of [Adriaen van Ostade](/source/Adriaen_van_Ostade). She died at [Hazerswoude](/source/Hazerswoude) in 1808 and was buried in Leiden. Her etchings are marked with ''Chra Cha.'', or ''Chra Chal.'',
or else ''CC.'' Amongst the best may be noticed:

* ''An Interior, with three Boors''.
* ''A Mother taking three children to School''.
* ''An Old Woman saluting a peasant Boy''.
