'''Chris Fox''' (born July 30, 1974) is an American retired [soccer](/source/soccer) [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) who played professionally in the [National Professional Soccer League](/source/NPSL_II) and [USL First Division](/source/USL_First_Division).

Fox attended [Brown University](/source/Brown_University), where he was a 1995 First Team All Ivy soccer player.  After graduating from Brown, Fox signed with the [New York Fever](/source/New_York_Fever) of the [A-League](/source/A-League_(1995%E2%80%932004)).  The Fever waived Fox in August 1996 and the [Atlanta Ruckus](/source/Atlanta_Ruckus) immediately signed him.<ref>[https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/rec.sport.soccer/ISx9Uc2OYtA A-League Weekly Report]</ref>  In addition to his outdoor career, Fox also played indoor soccer.
