**Chris Cozens** (born 14 June 1982, in [Bristol](/source/Bristol)) is a [freestyle](/source/Freestyle_swimming) [swimmer](/source/Swimmer) from [Great Britain](/source/United_Kingdom).

## Swimming career

He was a silver medallist in the 100 m freestyle (47.51) at the [2003 Summer Universiade](/source/Swimming_at_the_2003_Summer_Universiade) in [Daegu](/source/Daegu), [South Korea](/source/South_Korea). He studied at [Loughborough University](/source/Loughborough_University), and won the bronze medal in the 4×50 m freestyle relay at the [2005 European Short Course Championships](/source/European_SC_Championships_2005) in [Trieste, Italy](/source/Trieste,_Italy). Became the first British man under 48 seconds in the 100m Freestyle at the British Short Course Championships in Stockport 2003.[1]

He is a two times winner of the [British Championship](/source/British_Swimming_Championships_-_100_metres_freestyle_winners) in 100 metres freestyle (2003 and 2005).
