# Chinonso Offor

**Chinonso Nnamdi Offor** (born 27 May 2000) is a Nigerian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [striker](/source/Striker_(association_football)) for [Russian Premier League](/source/Russian_Premier_League) club [Baltika Kaliningrad](/source/FC_Baltika_Kaliningrad).

## Club career

Offor was born on 27 May 2000 in [Jos](/source/Jos), Nigeria but grew up in [Ekwulobia](/source/Ekwulobia) in [Anambra](/source/Anambra_State) after having fled Jos due to riots.[1] In 2012, he began playing for [Real Sapphire](/source/Real_Sapphire_F.C.) in [Lagos](/source/Lagos).[1] In 2017, Offor moved to [Northern Cyprus](/source/Northern_Cyprus) and joined [Binatlı Yılmaz](/source/Binatl%C4%B1_Y%C4%B1lmaz_S.K.), a club that was not affiliated with [FIFA](/source/FIFA) or [UEFA](/source/UEFA).[1]

In 2019, Offor received an offer to join Latvian club [Daugavpils](/source/BFC_Daugavpils) and signed with them for the [2019 season](/source/2019_Latvian_Higher_League).[1] On 21 August 2019, Offor made his competitive debut for Daugavpils in the [Latvian Cup](/source/Latvian_Football_Cup) against [Jelgava](/source/FK_Jelgava), starting in the 2–1 defeat.[2] He then scored his first goal in his [Virslīga](/source/Latvian_Higher_League) debut against Jelgava, scoring the opener in the 2nd minute of a 2–2 draw.[3] Offor ended his first season in Latvia with 6 goals in 14 matches.[4] The [next season](/source/2020_Latvian_Higher_League), Offor scored his first goal of the season on 25 June 2020 in a 6–0 victory over [Tukums 2000](/source/FK_Tukums_2000).[5] Offor then scored his first professional brace on 29 June in a 4–2 victory over [Metta](/source/FK_Metta).[6]

In July 2020, Offor moved to [RFS](/source/FK_RFS), also in the Latvian league.[1] He made his debut and scored his first goal for the club on 21 July in a 3–0 victory over Tukums 2000.[7] He ended his second season in Latvia with 21 matches and 10 goals scored.[4]

On 13 November 2020, Offor joined [Major League Soccer](/source/Major_League_Soccer) club [Chicago Fire](/source/Chicago_Fire_FC).[8] He made his debut for the Fire on 17 April 2021 against the [New England Revolution](/source/New_England_Revolution), starting in the 2–2 draw.[9] He then scored his first goal for the Fire on 7 July in a 3–1 victory against [Orlando City](/source/Orlando_City_SC).[10]

On 5 February 2024, Offor moved on loan to Bulgarian side [Arda Kardzhali](/source/FC_Arda_Kardzhali) for the rest of 2024.[11] At the end of the season, the club activated their purchased option for a permanent transfer.[12]

On 24 June 2025, Offor signed a four-year contract with Russian club [Baltika Kaliningrad](/source/FC_Baltika_Kaliningrad).[13]
