# Chilli Qhata

**Chilli Qhata** ([Aymara](/source/Aymara_language) *chilli* deep, *qhata* [knee pit](/source/Knee_pit),[1] "deep knee pit", also spelled *Chillicata*) is a 4,803-metre (15,758-foot) mountain in the [Andes](/source/Andes) of [Bolivia](/source/Bolivia). It is situated in the [Oruro Department](/source/Oruro_Department), [Sajama Province](/source/Sajama_Province), at the border of the Curahuara de Carangas Municipality and the [Turco Municipality](/source/Turco_Municipality). Chilli Qhata lies south-west of the mountain [Q'aysiri](/source/Q'aysiri) and east of Janq'u Jaqhi.[2][3]
