# Children's Learning Adventure

**Children's Learning Adventure** (**CLA**) is a chain of large [daycare centers](/source/Child_care) based in [Scottsdale, Arizona](/source/Scottsdale,_Arizona), United States.[1] Each campus occupies tens of thousands of square feet, featuring indoor and outdoor sports facilities, dance studios, and other amenities typically found at [family entertainment centers](/source/Family_entertainment_center).[2][3] [Pre-kindergarten](/source/Pre-kindergarten) and [after-school programs](/source/After-school_activity) are structured around a [STEAM](/source/STEAM_fields) curriculum.[3] The company was founded in 2008[2] and declared [Chapter 11 bankruptcy](/source/Chapter_11,_Title_11,_United_States_Code) in 2018.[4][5] As of 2017, the company operated around 40 campuses in 11 states.[2]
