In the [Guide Movement](/source/Girl_Guides), a **Chief Guide** is the uniformed head of a national Guiding organisation. [Olave Baden-Powell](/source/Olave_Baden-Powell), wife of [Robert Baden Powell](/source/Robert_Baden_Powell) became the first Chief Guide in 1918.[1][2]
