Beginning in 2016, the festival got a lot of recognition as it was [Rammstein](/source/Rammstein)'s only US performance that year. It is held at [Toyota Park](/source/Toyota_Park).[3][4] [Korn](/source/Korn) debuted the new single "Rotting in Vain" on July 16, 2016 at Chicago Open Air.[5][6] The first concert was held from July 14 to July 17, 2016.[1][2] The 2018 festival was cancelled, but the festival returned in 2019.
