**Chellington** is a village in the [civil parish](/source/Civil_parish) of [Carlton and Chellington](/source/Carlton_and_Chellington), in the [Bedford](/source/Borough_of_Bedford) borough of [Bedfordshire](/source/Bedfordshire), England. It is situated approximately 7 miles (11 km) north-west of [Bedford](/source/Bedford) town centre.

Chellington was recorded in the [Domesday Book](/source/Domesday_Book) of 1086 as a parish within the [Hundred of Willey](/source/Hundred_of_Willey).[2] In 1934 the parish was merged with the neighbouring parish of [Carlton](/source/Carlton%2C_Bedfordshire) to form a new parish called Carlton and Chellington.[3] At the 1931 census (the last before the abolition of the parish), Chellington had a population of 78.[4]
