The '''check-in code''' or the '''venue code''' ({{lang-zh|{{linktext|场所|码}}}}, ''Chǎngsuǒgmǎ'') is a [QR code](/source/QR_code) to record check-in locations for [contact tracing](/source/contact_tracing) and [epidemiologic investigations](/source/epidemiology). It was widely used in [Australia](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Australia) and [China](/source/COVID-19_pandemic_in_China) during the [COVID-19 pandemic](/source/COVID-19_pandemic) in 2020–2022.

== Mechanism ==

== Purposes ==
As all the people scan the QR code when they visit specific locations, their locations and their personal information are recorded.
