**Chars** (ʃaʁ) is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Val-d'Oise](/source/Val-d'Oise) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in [Île-de-France](/source/%C3%8Ele-de-France) in northern [France](/source/France). It is located in the [regional nature park of Vexin](/source/Parc_naturel_r%C3%A9gional_du_Vexin_fran%C3%A7ais).
