**Charles Berkeley Powell** (August 19, 1858 – 1933[1]) was an [Ontario](/source/Ontario) businessman and political figure. He represented the riding of Ottawa in the [Legislative Assembly of Ontario](/source/Legislative_Assembly_of_Ontario) from 1898 to 1904 as a [Conservative](/source/Progressive_Conservative_Party_of_Ontario) member.

He was born in [Port Dover](/source/Port_Dover), the son of Colonel [Walker Powell](/source/Walker_Powell), and educated at Galt College and [McGill University](/source/McGill_University). He apprenticed as a machinist with the [Grand Trunk Railway](/source/Grand_Trunk_Railway) and became a [mechanical engineer](/source/Mechanical_engineer). Powell served on the city council for [Ottawa](/source/Ottawa). He became a partner in the lumber firm of Pattee and Perley. He married Helen Louise Pattee.
