# Chandani

**Chandani** is a [village development committee](/source/Village_development_committee_(Nepal)) in [Kanchanpur District](/source/Kanchanpur_District) in [Sudurpashchim Province](/source/Sudurpashchim_Province) of south-western [Nepal](/source/Nepal). At the time of the [1991 Nepal census](/source/1991_Nepal_census) it had a population of 12,385 people living in 2240 individual households. Mainly Brahmins, ksheris mostly western community. The main language is Doteli.[1]
