# Chak Shah Muhammad

**Chak Shah Muhammad** is a [feudal](/source/Feudalism_in_Pakistan) village in [Haripur District](/source/Haripur_District) in [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa](/source/Khyber_Pakhtunkhwa) province of [Pakistan](/source/Pakistan). A small farming village of low brick houses, poultry farms and wheat fields, [Osama bin Laden](/source/Osama_bin_Laden) allegedly lived in the [village](/source/Bilal_Town) for two and a half years prior to moving to [a compound](/source/Osama_bin_Laden's_compound_in_Abbottabad) in [Abbottabad](/source/Abbottabad), Pakistan on 6 January 2006, after he fled from [Tora Bora caves](/source/Tora_Bora) to avoid capture by [U.S.](/source/United_States_invasion_of_Afghanistan) forces in December 2001. Bin Laden arrived in Pakistan in January 2002, 4 months after [9/11](/source/9/11).[1][2][3] It has a population of 1,500.[1]
