**Chahar Mast** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): چهارمست)[a] is a village in [Sarigol Rural District](/source/Sarigol_Rural_District)[4] of [Bam District](/source/Bam_District) in [Bam and Safiabad County](/source/Bam_and_Safiabad_County), [North Khorasan](/source/North_Khorasan_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).

## Demographics

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 82 in 21 households, when it was in [Bam Rural District](/source/Bam_Rural_District) of [Bam and Safiabad District](/source/Central_District_(Bam_and_Safiabad_County))[b] in [Esfarayen County](/source/Esfarayen_County).[5] The following census in 2011 counted 69 people in 18 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 80 people in 26 households.[2]

In 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of [Bam and Safiabad County](/source/Bam_and_Safiabad_County) and renamed the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Bam_and_Safiabad_County)). The rural district was transferred to the new [Bam District](/source/Bam_District), and Chahar Mast was transferred to [Sarigol Rural District](/source/Sarigol_Rural_District) created in the same district.[4]
