**Chadi Karnib** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): شَادِي كَرْنِيب; born 1 January 1975) is a Lebanese former [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as a [midfielder](/source/Midfielder). He represented the [Lebanon national team](/source/Lebanon_national_football_team) during the late 1990s.[1]

## Personal life

Karnib retired from football aged 25 after suffering from chronic injuries. He then moved to Australia, where he is currently living as of 2019.[2] He has two children, a son and a daughter, both of whom play football.[2] Karnib's children, Abbas (b. 2003) and Shireen (b. 2007), both represented Lebanon internationally at youth level.[3][4]
