***Century Days*** is the third album by [Die Kreuzen](/source/Die_Kreuzen), released in July 1988 through [Touch and Go Records](/source/Touch_and_Go_Records).[1][2] The album was produced in part by [Butch Vig](/source/Butch_Vig).[3] It sold around 10,000 copies in its first three years of release.[4]

## Critical reception

*[The Washington Post](/source/The_Washington_Post)* wrote: "Unlike [bands] who are trying to integrate melody into hardcore without undermining its power, Die Kreuzen ... owes more to early-'70s metal."[5] *[Trouser Press](/source/Trouser_Press)* deemed *Century Days* "an album of impressive dynamic range and sonic control."[6]
