**Cecil George Cooke** (May 31, 1923 – May 1, 1983) was a [sailor](/source/Sailing_(sport)) and Olympic champion from the Bahamas. He competed at the [1964 Summer Olympics](/source/1964_Summer_Olympics) in [Tokyo](/source/Tokyo), where he won a gold medal in the [Star class](/source/Star_(sailboat)), together with [Durward Knowles](/source/Durward_Knowles).[1][2][3] He was born in and died in [Nassau](/source/Nassau%2C_Bahamas), [New Providence](/source/New_Providence), Bahamas.[4]
