# Cavifronexus

***Cavifronexus*** is a genus of [termitophilous](/source/Termitophile) [beetles](/source/Beetle) in the family [Staphylinidae](/source/Staphylinidae). It was [first described](/source/Species_description) by the Brazilian entomologist Bruno Zilberman in 2020, and includes two species[1] from the [Neotropical region](/source/Neotropical_region), recorded only from the [Amazon rainforest](/source/Amazon_rainforest), associated with [termites](/source/Termite) of the genus *[Constrictotermes](/source/Constrictotermes)*.[2][3]
