# Caubiac

**Caubiac** (kobjak) is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Haute-Garonne](/source/Haute-Garonne) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in southwestern [France](/source/France). The ancient Gallo-Roman [Caubiac Treasure](/source/Caubiac_Treasure) was supposedly found in the village. It is now part of the [British Museum](/source/British_Museum)'s collection but was found in the nearby village of [Thil](/source/Thil,_Haute-Garonne).[2]
