# Catholic Club

The **Catholic Club** in [Bangalore](/source/Bangalore) is a [social association](/source/Social_club) established by Bangalore [Catholic](/source/Catholic) [Archdiocese](/source/Archdiocese_of_Bangalore) in 1948,[1] although its membership is not limited to Catholics. The club-house is located on Museum Road[2] next to St. Patrick's church. The Catholic Club is notable for its Christmas ball and New Year's [ball](/source/Ball_(dance)).
