==Club career==
Polli began his career with Team Ticino U-18, the youth team of [AC Lugano](/source/AC_Lugano). In mid-2006 he was promoted to the first team. He made his professional debut for Lugano before leaving abroad. On 1 September 2008 Polli was signed by [Genoa](/source/Genoa_C.F.C.)<ref>[http://www.lega-calcio.it/rest/site/default/file/Cs1102.pdf LEGA NAZIONALE PROFESSIONISTI]{{dead link|date=November 2016 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}</ref> for their youth team, which plays in [Campionato Nazionale Primavera](/source/Campionato_Nazionale_Primavera). In the same season he won [Coppa Italia Primavera](/source/Coppa_Italia_Primavera) against AS Roma and [Supercoppa Primavera](/source/Supercoppa_Primavera) against Palermo.
