At the [1970 British Commonwealth Games](/source/1970_British_Commonwealth_Games) he finished sixth in the [4 x 100 metres relay](/source/4_x_100_metres_relay), together with teammates [Hasely Crawford](/source/Hasely_Crawford), [John Mottley](/source/John_Mottley_(athlete)) and [Edwin Roberts](/source/Edwin_Roberts). He reached the quarterfinals in both the 100 and [200 metres](/source/200_metres) at the same games. He also competed at the [1968 Summer Olympics](/source/1968_Summer_Olympics) and the [1970 Central American and Caribbean Games](/source/1970_Central_American_and_Caribbean_Games)
