The '''Caribbean and Pacific Consortium (CariPac)''', established 2005, consists of institutions of [higher education](/source/higher_education) in [Guam](/source/Guam), the [Northern Mariana Islands](/source/Northern_Mariana_Islands), [American Samoa](/source/American_Samoa), [Puerto Rico](/source/Puerto_Rico), the [U.S. Virgin Islands](/source/U.S._Virgin_Islands), the [Federated States of Micronesia](/source/Federated_States_of_Micronesia), the [Marshall Islands](/source/Marshall_Islands), and [Palau](/source/Palau). CariPac was established to bring needed funds into agriculture and food science programs. Congressional response has included added telemetry for food science missions.
