'''Capstone Software''' was a subsidiary of [IntraCorp](/source/IntraCorp), a [Miami](/source/Miami)-based computer and video game company. Founded in 1984, Capstone created first-person games such as ''[Corridor 7: Alien Invasion](/source/Corridor_7%3A_Alien_Invasion)'', ''[Operation Body Count](/source/Operation_Body_Count)'', ''[William Shatner's TekWar](/source/William_Shatner's_TekWar)''<ref>{{Cite news|last=Tarason|first=Dominic|date=2018-02-19|title=William Shatner's Tekwar lives again... for some reason|url=https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/02/19/william-shatners-tekwar-lives-again-for-some-reason/|access-date=2020-11-28|website=[Rock, Paper, Shotgun](/source/Rock%2C_Paper%2C_Shotgun)}}</ref> and ''[Witchaven](/source/Witchaven)'',<ref>{{Cite web|title=Witchaven - PC - GameSpy|url=http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/witchaven/|access-date=2020-11-28}}</ref> and is also known for releasing games based on movie/TV licenses. Capstone's first-person games used the [''Wolfenstein 3D'' engine](/source/Wolfenstein_3D_engine), and later, the [Build engine](/source/Build_engine).

IntraCorp went bankrupt in 1996 and shut down all its operations, including Capstone Software. Capstone's last game, ''[Corridor 8: Galactic Wars](/source/Corridor_8)'', never left the prototype stage and was never released. Capstone became '''VRTech''', providing first-person buildouts of new construction condominiums using the Build engine. It eventually closed down.
