# Cape Webb

**Cape Webb** ([67°51′S 146°55′E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=67_51_S_146_55_E)) is a coastal point separating [Ainsworth Bay](/source/Ainsworth_Bay,_Antarctica) and [Doolette Bay](/source/Doolette_Bay), also serving to mark on the west the depression occupied by [Ninnis Glacier](/source/Ninnis_Glacier). Discovered by the [Australasian Antarctic Expedition](/source/Australasian_Antarctic_Expedition) (1911–1914) under [Douglas Mawson](/source/Douglas_Mawson), and named after [Eric Webb](/source/Eric_Webb) ([Webb Subglacial Trench](/source/Webb_Subglacial_Trench), q.v.), chief magnetician of the [Main Base Party](/source/Main_Base_Party) of the expedition.
