# Cape Roger

**Cape Roger** is a headland located on the south coast of [Newfoundland](/source/Newfoundland_(island)) in the [Canadian](/source/Canada) province of [Newfoundland and Labrador](/source/Newfoundland_and_Labrador).[1]

Cape Roger extends into [Placentia Bay](/source/Placentia_Bay) from the eastern shore of the [Burin Peninsula](/source/Burin_Peninsula). It is bounded on the west by Cape Roger Bay and on the east by Nonsuch Inlet.
