# Cape Alexander

**Cape Alexander** ([66°44′S 62°37′W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=66_44_S_62_37_W)) is a cape which forms the south end of [Churchill Peninsula](/source/Churchill_Peninsula) and the east side of the entrance to [Cabinet Inlet](/source/Cabinet_Inlet), on the east coast of [Graham Land](/source/Graham_Land). It was charted by the [Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey](/source/Falkland_Islands_Dependencies_Survey) (FIDS) and photographed from the air by the [Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition](/source/Ronne_Antarctic_Research_Expedition) (RARE) in December 1947.

Cape Alexander was named by the FIDS for Rt. Hon. [Albert V. Alexander](/source/Albert_V._Alexander), M.P., [First Lord of the Admiralty](/source/First_Lord_of_the_Admiralty).
