'''Canada Square''' is a square at [Canary Wharf](/source/Canary_Wharf) in the [London Borough of Tower Hamlets](/source/London_Borough_of_Tower_Hamlets), located in London. Canada Square is surrounded by three of the tallest buildings in the United Kingdom, including [One Canada Square](/source/One_Canada_Square), which was the tallest building in the United Kingdom from 1990 until late 2010, when it was surpassed by [The Shard](/source/The_Shard) in the [London Borough of Southwark](/source/London_Borough_of_Southwark).

The complex is named for Canada by [Olympia and York](/source/Olympia_and_York), the original developers of the site owned by the [Reichmann family](/source/Reichmann_family) of Toronto.

The complex and the square is served by [Canary Wharf Underground station](/source/Canary_Wharf_tube_station) on the [Jubilee line](/source/Jubilee_line) and [Canary Wharf DLR station](/source/Canary_Wharf_DLR_station) on the [Docklands Light Railway](/source/Docklands_Light_Railway).
