The **Calgary Cardinals** were a [minor league baseball](/source/Minor_league_baseball) team located in the [Canadian](/source/Canada) city of [Calgary](/source/Calgary), [Alberta](/source/Alberta), in 1977 and 1978. The team was a member of the [Pioneer League](/source/Pioneer_League_(baseball)), playing at the [Rookie League](/source/Rookie_League) level, and affiliated with the [St. Louis Cardinals](/source/St._Louis_Cardinals) of [Major League Baseball](/source/Major_League_Baseball) (MLB).

The Cardinals and the [Medicine Hat A's](/source/Medicine_Hat_A's) were Pioneer League expansion teams in 1977. Calgary changed affiliations to the [Montreal Expos](/source/Montreal_Expos) in 1979, and the team became the [Calgary Expos](/source/Calgary_Expos).
