'''Caleb Stark''' (December 3, 1759 – August 28, 1838) was an American state senator. He was the eldest son of General [John Stark](/source/John_Stark) and his wife [Molly Stark](/source/Molly_Stark).

==Biography==
He was born December 3, 1759, at [Dunbarton, New Hampshire](/source/Dunbarton%2C_New_Hampshire). During the [American Revolutionary War](/source/American_Revolutionary_War) Caleb served with his father in the [1st New Hampshire Regiment](/source/1st_New_Hampshire_Regiment) at the [Battle of Bunker Hill](/source/Battle_of_Bunker_Hill), [Trenton](/source/Battle_of_Trenton) and [Princeton](/source/Battle_of_Princeton) as an [Ensign](/source/Ensign_(rank)). After his father resigned his commission Caleb remained in the [Continental Army](/source/Continental_Army), serving the rest of the war and rising to the rank of [major](/source/Major_(United_States)). He served in the New Hampshire Senate from 1818 to 1819.
