***CB 200*** is the second studio album by Jamaican [reggae](/source/Reggae) artist [Dillinger](/source/Dillinger_(musician)). It was released in 1976 via [Island Records](/source/Island_Records), making it the musician's first album on the label. Recording sessions took place at [Channel One Recording Studios](/source/Channel_One_Studios) in [Kingston](/source/Kingston,_Jamaica). Production of the album was entirely handled by [Joseph "Jo Jo" Hoo Kim](/source/Joseph_Hoo_Kim). The album peaked at number 7 in the [Netherlands](/source/Netherlands) and spawned a [hit single](/source/Hit_song) "[Cokane in My Brain](/source/Cocaine_in_My_Brain)", which became a [number-one single in the Netherlands](/source/List_of_Dutch_Top_40_number-one_singles_of_1977) and also reached number 2 in [Belgium](/source/Belgium) and number 35 in Germany.

## Critical reception

Stephen Cook of [AllMusic](/source/AllMusic) said that the album's sound "is dark-hued and rootsy, full of smoky horns and dubby textures that are well suited to Dillinger's dread delivery".[1]
