The **Bullpasture River** is a 26.2-mile-long (42.2 km)[1] tributary of the [Cowpasture River](/source/Cowpasture_River) of [Virginia](/source/Virginia) in the [United States](/source/United_States).

The Bullpasture River flows through [Highland County, Virginia](/source/Highland_County%2C_Virginia), from its headwaters on the boundary between Virginia and [West Virginia](/source/West_Virginia) northwest of the village of [Doe Hill, Virginia](/source/Doe_Hill%2C_Virginia). It flows southwest between Bullpasture Mountain and Jack Mountain until joining the Cowpasture River in [Bath County, Virginia](/source/Bath_County%2C_Virginia), below the hamlet of [Williamsville](/source/Williamsville%2C_Virginia).

The Cowpasture River joins the [Jackson River](/source/Jackson_River_(Virginia)) to form the [James River](/source/James_River).
