**Bukit Katil** is a mukim and neighbourhood in [Melaka Tengah District](/source/Melaka_Tengah_District), [Malacca](/source/Malacca), [Malaysia](/source/Malaysia), which is administered by two local governments: [Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council](/source/Hang_Tuah_Jaya_Municipal_Council) to the north and [Malacca City Council](/source/Malacca_City_Council) to the south.[1][2] Located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) north of the city centre, it lies within the suburb of [Ayer Keroh](/source/Ayer_Keroh) and adjacent to the towns of [Bukit Baru](/source/Bukit_Baru), [Batu Berendam](/source/Batu_Berendam), [Durian Tunggal](/source/Durian_Tunggal) and [Bemban](/source/Bemban).
