It is situated on the right bank of [River Jhelum](/source/Jhelum_River) and 10&nbsp;km from the [M-2 motorway](/source/M-2_motorway_(Pakistan)). Presently this area became a part of [China-Pakistan Economic Corridor](/source/China-Pakistan_Economic_Corridor) (CPEC).
[Bhera](/source/Bhera) is also nearby to Bugga.
