# Bud Cook

**Alexander Leone Lally "Bud" Cook** (November 20, 1907 – November 13, 1993) was a Canadian [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) [centre forward](/source/Centre_(ice_hockey)) who played 50 games over three seasons in the [National Hockey League](/source/National_Hockey_League) for the [Boston Bruins](/source/Boston_Bruins), [Ottawa Senators](/source/Ottawa_Senators_(original)), and [St. Louis Eagles](/source/St._Louis_Eagles). He spent the majority of his career in the minor leagues, primarily in the [International American Hockey League](/source/International_American_Hockey_League)/[American Hockey League](/source/American_Hockey_League), before retiring in 1947.

Bud was the younger brother of fellow professional hockey players [Bill](/source/Bill_Cook) and [Bun Cook](/source/Bun_Cook), both of whom are inducted in the [Hockey Hall of Fame](/source/Hockey_Hall_of_Fame).[1]
