# Bryan Proby

**Bryan Craig Proby** (November 30, 1971) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was a [defensive lineman](/source/Defensive_line) for the [Kansas City Chiefs](/source/Kansas_City_Chiefs) of the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL). He played [college football](/source/College_football) for the [Arizona State Sun Devils](/source/Arizona_State_Sun_Devils_football). He was selected by the Chiefs in the sixth round (202nd overall) of the [1995 NFL draft](/source/1995_NFL_draft).[1]

## After football

In July 2010, Proby opened a [barbecue](/source/Barbecue) restaurant, Big Belly's BBQ, in [Tempe, Arizona](/source/Tempe,_Arizona).[2] The restaurant has since closed.
