**Bryan Murphy** (born 1992) is an [Irish](/source/Irish_people) [hurler](/source/Hurling) who plays as a left wing-back for the [Kerry](/source/Kerry_GAA) senior team.[1]

Born in [Causeway](/source/Causeway%2C_County_Kerry), [County Kerry](/source/County_Kerry), Murphy first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Causeway Comprehensive School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Kerry minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the [2011 league](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2011_National_League&action=edit&redlink=1) for Kerry seniors. Murphy quickly became a regular member of the starting fifteen and has won one [Christy Ring Cup](/source/Christy_Ring_Cup) medal.[2]

At club level Murphy has played with [Causeway](/source/Causeway_GAA) and [Sarsfields](/source/Sarsfields_GAA_(Cork)) in Cork and had won County titles with both.
