'''Brooklyn Field Club''' was a [soccer](/source/association_football) team based in [Brooklyn](/source/Brooklyn), [New York](/source/New_York_(state)), that existed from 1898 to 1924. It is one of the few to predate the [United States Soccer Federation](/source/United_States_Soccer_Federation), which was founded in 1913.

Between 1909 and 1916 they played in the second [National Association Football League](/source/National_Association_Football_League) (NAFBL), winning the 1913–1914 title.  

The team was the first to win the [National Challenge Cup](/source/1914_National_Challenge_Cup), the earliest version of what was to be known from 1999 as the [Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup](/source/Lamar_Hunt_U.S._Open_Cup) in [1914](/source/1913%E2%80%9314_National_Challenge_Cup) defeating [Brooklyn Celtic](/source/Brooklyn_Celtic) in the final 2–1.
