This article is about the beach in South Devon. For the cove in North Devon, see [Broadsands Beach](/source/Broadsands_Beach).

**Broadsands** is a beach on the coast of [Torbay](/source/Torbay) in [South Devon](/source/South_Devon), England. It is also the name of an area of housing inland from the beach,[1] in the [Churston Ferrers](/source/Churston_Ferrers) part of Torbay between [Paignton](/source/Paignton) and [Brixham](/source/Brixham).

It is a tourist attraction, with a range of facilities[2] and a large [pitch and putt](/source/Pitch_and_putt) course on the adjacent headland. The beach is popular for fishing and watersports.

There are good views of the [Dartmouth Steam Railway](/source/Dartmouth_Steam_Railway), which crosses two [Brunel](/source/Brunel) viaducts near the beach on the section between [Goodrington Sands](/source/Goodrington_Sands_railway_station) and [Churston](/source/Churston_railway_station).
