== Early life ==
He graduated from [North Dakota State University](/source/North_Dakota_State_University) with a business degree and attended law school at the [University of North Dakota](/source/University_of_North_Dakota). Edison is a native of Milnor.

== Career ==
He has unsuccessfully run for both [State Auditor](/source/North_Dakota_State_Auditor) in 2004 and for [State Tax Commissioner](/source/North_Dakota_State_Tax_Commissioner) in 2006.
