For American journalist and former football player, see [Brandon Scott Mason](/source/Brandon_Scott_Mason). **Brandon Alexander Mason** (born 30 September 1997) is an English professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for club [Farnham Town](/source/Farnham_Town_F.C.). ## Club career A graduate of the [Watford youth system](/source/Watford_F.C._Under-23s_and_Academy), Mason was handed a professional contract ahead of the [2016–17 season](/source/2016%E2%80%9317_Watford_F.C._season).[3] He made his [Premier League](/source/Premier_League) debut for [Watford](/source/Watford_F.C.) on 1 January 2017 in a 4–1 home defeat against [Tottenham Hotspur](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.).[4] He then made his first start for Watford in their [FA Cup](/source/FA_Cup) fixture against [Burton Albion](/source/Burton_Albion_F.C.) six days later, setting up a goal for [Christian Kabasele](/source/Christian_Kabasele).[5] In January 2018, Mason joined [Scottish Championship](/source/Scottish_Championship) club [Dundee United](/source/Dundee_United_F.C.) until the end of the 2017–18 season.[6] He made his debut in a 6–1 defeat at [Falkirk](/source/Falkirk_F.C.) on 6 January,[7] but made only one further appearance for the club.
