It is located 24 km southeast of [Varde](/source/Varde), 19 km north of [Ribe](/source/Ribe), 40 km southwest of [Grindsted](/source/Grindsted) and 19 km east of [Esbjerg](/source/Esbjerg).

Bramming was the municipal seat of the former [Bramming Municipality](/source/Bramming_Municipality) until 1 January 2007.

==Churches==

There are two churches located in the Bramming area. [https://www.vadehavskysten.com/ribe-esbjerg-fano/ribe-esbjer-fano/skt-ansgar-church-bramming-gdk610217 Skt. Ansgar Church], [consecrated](/source/consecration) in 1915, is located in the railway town, and the medieval [https://www.vadehavskysten.com/ribe-esbjerg-fano/ribe-esbjerg-fano/skt-knud-church-bramming-gdk610347 Skt. Knud Church] is located on the northern outskirts of the town. This church served the neighboring manor [https://www.visitdenmark.nl/denemarken/reis-planen/bramming-hovedgard-gdk610216 Bramming Hovedgård], now Southwest Jutland's Boarding School.

==The museum==

[https://www.vadehavskysten.com/ribe-esbjerg-fano/ribe-esbjerg-fano/bramming-museum-art-culture-and-history-gdk610258 Bramming Egnsmuseum], located by the water tower, is a museum where changing exhibitions on cultural history, art and crafts are displayed. In 2007, the so-called Historium opened, which is a 5.5 m high glass display case of almost 100&nbsp;m<sup>3</sup>. Here, both the Bramming region's and Southwest Jutland's cultural history and features of Danish cultural history as a whole are exhibited.
