# Boy Point

**Boy Point** ([62°10′S 58°11′W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=62_10_S_58_11_W)) is a headland between [Cinder Spur](/source/Cinder_Spur) and [Low Head](/source/Low_Head_(Antarctica)) on the south coast of [King George Island](/source/King_George_Island_(Antarctica)) in the [South Shetland Islands](/source/South_Shetland_Islands). It was named by the [Polish Antarctic Expedition](/source/Polish_Antarctic_Expedition) in 1980 after [Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński](/source/Tadeusz_Boy-%C5%BBele%C5%84ski) (1874–1941), Polish writer and essayist.
