It was the first European and second American single from her ninth studio album *[American Doll Posse](/source/American_Doll_Posse)* (2007).[2] The song was released in the U.S. to Triple A Radio in early August.[3] ## Music video The [music video](/source/Music_video) for "Bouncing off Clouds" is a variation of the [music video](/source/Music_video) for "[Big Wheel](/source/Big_Wheel_(song))", a slide show of photographs taken by Blaise Reutersward for Amos' album, *[American Doll Posse](/source/American_Doll_Posse)*. This music video uses slightly different images of Amos, interspersed with images of clouds.
