The '''Boulevard Line''' ({{langx|da|Boulevardbanen}}) is a {{convert|3.2|km|sp=us|adj=on}} long partly underground [railway](/source/railway) between [Copenhagen Central Station](/source/Copenhagen_Central_Station) and [Østerport Station](/source/%C3%98sterport_Station) in [Copenhagen](/source/Copenhagen), [Denmark](/source/Denmark).<ref>Larsen and Poulsen (2009): 4</ref> The [quadruple track](/source/quadruple_track) railway carries today one dual track for the [Copenhagen S-train](/source/Copenhagen_S-train) system and another dual track for the [mainline railway](/source/rail_transport_in_Denmark) and regional trains. The line has two intermediate stations, [Vesterport Station](/source/Vesterport_Station) and [Nørreport Station](/source/N%C3%B8rreport_Station). It continues above ground to [Nordhavn station](/source/Nordhavn_station) and at [Svanemøllen station](/source/Svanem%C3%B8llen_station) the tracks separate towards either [Ryparken station](/source/Ryparken_station) or [Hellerup station](/source/Hellerup_station). [Dybbølsbro station](/source/Dybb%C3%B8lsbro_station) is also located along this railway, located just a bit south of Copenhagen Central. Out of the four main [S-train](/source/S-train) branches, three follow this path, between Dybbølsbro and Svanemøllen (with at least four tracks). Only at Copenhagen Central, Nørreport and Østerport do all trains stop. While Dybbølsbro, Vesterport, Nordhavn and Svanemøllen all are S-train stations only. (Nørreport also has [Metro](/source/Copenhagen_Metro) service, just as the Central Station, Østerport and Nordhavn have since 2019).

It opened in 1917, allowing services on the [Coast Line](/source/Coast_Line_(Denmark)) and the [Klampenborg Line](/source/C_(S-train)) to extend to Copenhagen Central Station.<ref>Larsen and Poulsen (2009): 17</ref> The line became part of the S-train network on 15 May 1934.<ref>Larsen and Poulsen (2009): 6</ref>
